Taguig City, September 2025 – The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) held its third General Membership Meeting (GMM) of the year on September 3 at The Yard, Menarco Tower, Bonifacio Global City. Themed “Marketing on the Edge: Ethics, Regulation, and Innovation in a Digital World,” the event brought together industry leaders and experts to examine how brands can balance rapid digital innovation with responsibility and integrity.
The meeting opened with the induction of 33 new member companies into the DMAP community, led by Membership Committee Co-chair Anna Mamon-Aban. Each new addition strengthens DMAP’s commitment to shaping a more responsible, creative, and future-ready marketing industry.
In line with this commitment, DMAP also introduced Digital for All—a movement to make digital channels more accessible and inclusive, especially for persons with disabilities. By enabling brands and businesses to design websites, apps, and touchpoints with inclusivity in mind, the initiative underscores that accessibility is not only ethical, but also sound business practice.
Keynote speaker Robbie Aligada, Executive Director of the Ad Standards Council (ASC), delivered an insightful address on the evolving role of self-regulation in an increasingly tech-driven environment. He called on marketing leaders to embrace integrity and accountability as innovation continues to outpace policy.
The program also featured a compelling panel discussion moderated by DMAP President Miko David. The panel brought together Gilda Maquilan, Vice President for Corporate Communications & Public Affairs at GCash, who shared perspectives on strategic communications and sustainability; Nixon David, Public Policy Manager for Meta Philippines, who discussed digital policy and safety; and Christian Padilla, Country Head of Yazle Global, who spoke on innovation and navigating adtech at scale.
DMAP’s third General Membership Meeting for 2025 was made possible through the support of AdSpark, event partner and a leader in data-driven marketing solutions.
